Join Us in Celebrating the Long Island Aquarium’s 25th Anniversary with Art!
The Long Island Aquarium is thrilled to mark its 25th Anniversary, and we want to make this milestone unforgettable! We are soliciting artists to submit aquatic-themed artwork for our special birthday celebration event taking place on June 25, 2025.
We invite talented artists to submit their unique interpretations of marine life, whether through painting, sculpture, photography, or mixed media. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your creativity while celebrating the wonders of the ocean.
Why Participate? Selected artists will have their artwork displayed at our event and receive two complimentary tickets to the 25th Anniversary Celebration at the Long Island Aquarium.
Submission Guidelines:
- Theme: Aquatic life and marine environments
- Medium: Open to all visual art forms
- Deadline: June 1, 2025
- Submission Format: High-resolution images of the artwork, including the title, dimensions, and a brief artist statement
- Drop-off Details: Upon selection, artwork should be delivered or mailed to the Long Island Aquarium by June 13, 2025

Art Submission for Schools
Local students are invited to create and submit aquatic-themed artwork to be displayed at our anniversary event. This opportunity allows young artists to showcase their creativity while celebrating the beauty of marine life. We encourage submissions in any visual medium, including painting, drawing, photography, and mixed media.

As a token of our appreciation, participating schools will receive a Virtual Animal Program for their class, where students can experience an engaging, interactive session with one of our incredible aquarium educators.

Participation in this event does not guarantee selection, and all decisions regarding inclusion are final. Submission constitutes agreement to these terms.
